What Is the

Homeownership Program?

The Homeownership Program is Habitat for Humanity New Brunswick’s affordable homeownership program for eligible families in New Brunswick.

Families who are selected do not receive a free home. Instead, they partner with Habitat to purchase a home through an affordable mortgage model. The program is designed to create a realistic path to homeownership for families who may not be able to access conventional options.

The program is built on partnership, shared responsibility, and long-term affordability. If you would like to learn more about the broader Habitat model, visit How Habitat Works.

Habitat for Humanity New Brunswick continues to explore opportunities to build homes in communities across the province.

Additional projects may be announced in communities such as Fredericton, Saint John, Miramichi, and other areas as plans are confirmed.
